Connecting technology gurus and business masterminds to make things better

I want to do a comparativ study between the most efficient and popular expert system generator.
Expert System is a technology which goes beyond the bounds of reason during the years 1980/1990. Today all informations belong to the past.
Who could me help to this study et draw a short list of expert system generator ?
Today, in this field, there is a lack of actual information and I don't know if some solutions are always maintained.

Romeu,
The BRE Family Tree (http://bizrules.info/page/art_brefamilytree.htm) has a short list of BRE + ES vendors. Many of the leading BREs on the list actually started out as ES tools, then evolved away from the expert advisor approach into the stricly rules approach found in today's rule engines. The vendors that are still marketing expert systems include Amzi!, Exsys, and XpertRule. XpertRule is based in EU, so you may want to to check them out first.
Good luck!

Have you any recent experience of integrations of BRDM (Business Rules-based Decision Management) solutions ? BDRM include BRE solutions and inference engine (like expert system).
According to a Yphise study ( www.yphise.com) the leaders are:
FICO with Blaze Advisor, Ilog with Jrules and Pega with Pega rules for commander.
Do you know these products and have you any experience of their integration in an IT system ?
Thanks for your first response.
